These Terms of Service cover your use of the Pronto Moving Company website and the moving services we provide. By requesting a quote or booking a move with us, you agree to the terms set out below.
Estimates and Binding Quotes
Any price posted on this site or given over the phone is an estimate until we have seen your home, either in person or by video. After a walkthrough we issue a written flat-rate estimate, as Michigan requires for household-goods moves. A flat-rate quote you accept is binding for the goods and services it describes. If the job changes on move day, say you add items, change an address, or ask for work the quote did not include, the price may be adjusted to fit the actual work, and we will tell you before we go ahead.
Deposit and Cancellation
A $125 deposit reserves your date and your crew, and it is credited toward your final balance. If you have to cancel or reschedule, let us know as early as you can so we can open that slot for someone else. How a deposit is handled on a cancellation is explained to you at the time you book.
Liability and Valuation
Our standard liability is released value at $0.60 per pound per item, included at no extra cost. You may instead choose full-value protection, which covers the repair or replacement value of your belongings, for an added charge agreed ahead of time. We carry cargo coverage up to $1,000,000 per shipment. Claims need to be reported promptly and in writing.
