Full and Partial Packing for Your Lapeer Move

We show up with the boxes, paper, and tape, label every carton by room, then unpack and clear the empties.

Packing is the part everyone underestimates. The kitchen alone can swallow a whole evening, and the tape always runs dry at nine on a Sunday. Hand it to us and the boxes, packing paper, and tape arrive with the crew. We can wrap the entire house or just the rooms you would rather skip, the china cabinet, the basement, the home office tangled in cables.

Everything gets labeled by room as it goes into the carton, so the unload is not guesswork and our movers know exactly where each box belongs. Travis put this service together for households that do not have the hours to box a whole house themselves, and the same ten W-2 movers who load the truck do the packing. Labor-only packing runs $135 an hour if you already have boxes and just want the hands. A full or partial pack with materials is priced to the job after a walkthrough, and a $125 deposit holds the date.

Cartons In, Cartons Out

The supplies come with us, and so does the cleanup. Once you have landed, we swing back to unpack, stand the dishes on the shelves and hang the clothes in the closet, then flatten and cart off every empty box so the new place is not a cardboard maze for a month. Fragile pieces earn real paper, cell boxes, and corner guards, not a quick wrap and a wish. You set how far it goes, from a full unpack to dropping labeled boxes in the right rooms.

Packing Built to Ride the Highway

On a long-distance move, packing keeps glassware whole across a few hundred miles, so the wrap goes tighter and the cartons fill out to ride without shifting on I-69 or I-75. On a quick hop across the county we can pack in the morning and load that afternoon. Cargo protection covers up to $1,000,000 per shipment, released value $0.60 per pound.

What Lapeer Folks Tell Us

Megan R.
Lapeer · Google
★★★★★

“We moved off Nepessing Street in the middle of an ice storm and I was sure the day would be a disaster. Travis's crew salted and laid down mats on the lot stairs before they touched a single box, and the truck was already loaded from the night before so they were unloading by noon. The $135/hr held exactly to what Kyle quoted me. Honestly the calmest move I've ever had.”

Brett K.
Imlay City · Google
★★★★★

“Hired Pronto for our jump from Imlay City to a place off M-24. They quoted a flat band and that number never moved, even when we added a couple wardrobe boxes last minute. Marcus and the guys ran I-69 like they'd done it a hundred times and beat the afternoon traffic into Lapeer.”

Allison T.
Lake Orion · Yelp
★★★★

“Our cottage on the lake has a brutal set of stairs down to the water side and I worried about the bedroom furniture. The crew padded everything and took the turns slow. Took about an hour longer than estimated because of the grade, but they'd warned me that might happen up front, so no complaints there. Fair price for the work.”

Service Questions

Will you show up with the boxes and packing supplies?
Yes. Cartons, packing paper, tape, and bubble wrap roll up with the crew, so there is no last-minute hardware-store run. The cost of the materials is folded into the packing quote after we have walked through the home and seen what there is to wrap.
Can you pack only a few rooms instead of the whole house?
Of course. Plenty of folks want us on the kitchen, the basement, and the breakables while they handle the rest themselves. We will pack a full home or just the rooms you point to, and the quote reflects the actual scope rather than an all-or-nothing rate.
Will you unpack at the new house as well?
If you want it, yes. We come back to unpack, set the dishes and clothes where they go, then flatten and haul off the empties so the new place is not buried under cardboard for weeks. You decide whether that is a full unpack or just boxes in the right rooms.
What does packing cost on its own?
Labor-only packing, where you supply the boxes and want the hands, runs $135 an hour. A full or partial pack with materials is quoted after a walkthrough, since it depends on the room count and how much there is to wrap. A $125 deposit holds the date and credits to the total.
